Sudarshan Chakra

This is considered to be the most powerful weapon in Hindu mythology is most often seen in the rear right hand of the four hands of Lord Vishnu.

It is a spinning disc-like weapon having 10 million spikes in two rows moving in the opposite directions to give it a serrated edge. 

Sudarshan Chakra has 108 sharp edges. It is also called "Kaal Chakra", which symbolizes the wheel of time,

Which includes twelve spokes and six centers. These twelve spokes represent the twelve months of the year, while the six centers symbolize the six seasons.

The Sanskrit word "Sudarshan" translates to "auspicious vision". “Su” meaning ‘auspicious’ and “Darshan” meaning ‘vision.’

Some scriptures suggest that it was created by combining the powers of three gods and Vishwakarma created it from the dust of the Sun.

According to the Mahabharata, Agni Dev presented the Sudarshan Chakra to Lord Krishna as a token of gratitude.

Shiva Purana states that Lord Shiva bestowed the Sudarshan Chakra on Lord Vishnu as a divine blessing.
